Virginia Sue Bjick was born on October 11, 1944, the daughter
of Arthur and Clara Bjick. She married Bruce Ayan Blake
on February 1, 1964, in Kankakee. Virginia died June 21,
1964, and was buried in Memorial Gardens in Kankakee.

Wednesday of Mrs. Virginia Sue Blake, 19, of Kankakee, were
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mannings, Mrs. Audrey Jackson, Mrs. Leila
Clark, Mrs. George Sheppard, Mrs. Blance Hogan and Walter
Parmley.
Mrs. Blake was born in Kankakee October 11, 1944, the daughter
and only child of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Bjick. She was
married February 1, 1964, to Bruce Blake of Kankakee and spent
two weeks and two days enjoying the apartment they had
furnished before she was stricken with cancer and was
hospitalized in Kankakee and Chicago until two weeks before
her death when she was brought back to the home of her
parents. The minister who married Virginia and Bruce
officiated at her funeral in the church where they were
married. Burial was in a Kankakee cemetery.
Mrs. Bjick is a cousin of the women from Lake Villege.
