Sandra Arlene Ritter 1944-2015

Sandra A. LoGalbo, 70, of Flossmoor, passed away Wednesday (March 11, 2015) at her home.

She was born on Sept. 27, 1944, in Kankakee, the daughter of Gilbert and Lorene (Peterson) Ritter. She married Russell Stahl in June 1965. He preceded her in death 1976. She then married Carmelo Frank LoGalbo on June 3, 1985, in Clark, Nevada.  They were later divorced.

She was a graduate of Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais and worked at Howe Developmental Center as an administrative assistant before her retirement.

Surviving are her three daughters, Gretchen (José) Bolaños, of Oak Park, Marlene (Steve) Shaffer, of Libertyville, and Gina (Elmer) Fabián, of Chicago; two sisters, Caron (Steve) Arbouthnot, of Kankakee, and Maleia (Steve) Sulock; two brothers, Darell (Phyllis) Moreland, of Grand Haven, Mich., and Gordon (Eileen) Ritter, of Grand Haven, Mich.; and six grandchildren.

Visitation will take place from 11 a.m. Monday until the 1 p.m. funeral service at Schreffler Funeral Homes, Kankakee Chapel. Burial will immediately follow in Kankakee Memorial Gardens, Aroma Township.
