Ronald G. Chandler, age 69, Millville, Pennsylvania. died
Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014, in the Hospice Facility of Divine
Providence Hospital, Williamsport. He had been a patient for
two weeks.
Ron was born Nov. 25, 1944, in Kankakee, Ill., a son of the
late Thomas and Erma Dell (Porter) Chandler. After
graduating from Kankakee High School in 1962, Ron continued
his education at Buena Vista College where he was awarded a
Bachelor of Science Degree.
Most of his working life, Ron was a self-employed
businessman. He was owner and operator of Quality Care Plus
Pet Products. He was a member of Millville Christian Church
(Disciples of Christ).
Survivors include his wife, Diane (Hogrefe) Chandler, with
whom he would have celebrated a 50th wedding anniversary on
Jan. 14. Also surviving are one daughter, Jari Farr, and
husband, Monte, of Millville; two sons: Tony Chandler of
Guyman, Okla.; and Michael Chandler and wife, Amy, of
Houston, Texas; nine grandchildren; and two sisters: Dodie
Richard of Kankakee, Ill.; and Carole Sarna of Bakersfield,
Calif.
A time of visitation for family and friends will be Monday
from 4 to 6 p.m. from the Allen Funeral Home Inc., 107 W.
Main at Railroad streets, Millville.
Funeral services will begin at 6 p.m. at the funeral home
with his pastor, the Rev. Rich Plocinski, officiating.
