Linda
Ann Reilly was born on January 17, 1945, in Kankakee,
Illinois, to Jessie Lee Bland, age 26, and Robert Emmet
Reilly, age 31. She died on May 15, 2018, when she was
73 years old.
She served in the U.S. Air Force from 1966 to 1987,
attaining the rank of Major. She earned a bachelor’s
degree in nursing from Florida State University in 1972 and
a master’s degree in material and child health and midwifery
in 1977 from the University of Utah. She later became
a nurse midwife in Ocala, Florida, and was the director of
Midwives of Ocala.
