Julia
Helen Mericle Kessinger died June 18, 2009, in
Kankakee. She was born on March 24, 1944, in
Adrian, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles and Katherine
Cruse Mericle.
She was buried in Kankakee Memorial Gardens cemetery.
Ms. Kessinger was retired from U.S. Waterproofing in Rolling
Meadows. She enjoyed playing cards, going to the casino
boats and watching movies. Surviving are two sisters and
brothers-in-law, Barbara and Fred Katzer of Iva, S.C.,
Bonnie and David Babcock of Westfield Center, Ohio; two
brothers and four sisters-inlaw, Leland and Marcia Mericle
of Hamilton, Ohio, David and Sandy Mericle of Strongsville,
Ohio, Sharon Mericle and Mary Mericle, both of Bourbonnais;
second mother, Ruthie of Bradley; special niece, Kelly; and
several other nieces and nephews. Deceased are her parents,
one son, Eddie; two brothers, Paul and Robert Mericle; two
nieces and one nephew.
