Judith Ann Jefferson 1944-2005

Visitation for Judy Jefferson Skeldon, 60, of Kankakee, will be from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the 11 a.m. memorial service at St. John United Church of Christ, Kankakee.

Burial will be in Mound Grove Gardens. Memorials may be made to St. John United Church of Christ. Cremation rites were accorded by Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Crematory, West Kankakee. She died Saturday (Sept. 24, 2005) at her home after an extended illness.

She was born Dec. 26, 1944, in Kankakee, the daughter of Donald D. and Marjorie Jefferson. She was a 1962 graduate of Kankakee High School.

Surviving are her husband, Oran L. Skeldon, whom she married June 29, 1963; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Michael J. and Lucy Skeldon of Wakefield, Mass., Richard D. Skeldon of Kankakee; her mother of Kankakee; three grandchildren, Kathryn "KC", Christopher and Alexander of Wakefield, Mass.; and very special friend, Susan Harling of Clifton.

Her father is deceased.
