Jerry Lynn Kibbons 1944-2009

Jerry Lynn Kibbons was born July 29, 1944, the son of Leonard and Lillian Landrie Kibbons.  He died Jan. 20, 2009, and was buried in Mound Grove Cemetery, Kankakee.

Mr. Kibbons retired from General Foods/Heinz. He served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1967.

He is a proud Diamond Club member. He was a former member of the Kankakee Boat Club, enjoyed fishing and was an extensive traveler.

Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Carrie and Lance Devore of Bourbonnais; three grandchildren, Savannah, Cody and Drew; his mother of Kankakee; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Karen Brough and Mike Arseneau of Kankakee, Cheryl and Arkie Giroux of Rensselaer, N.Y.; one brother and sister-in-law, Norman and Shelley Kibbons of Bourbonnais; many beloved nieces and nephews; and longtime special friend, Nancy Brown of Bradley.  His father is deceased.t
