Gary Lee Hengl - 1945-2007

Gary Lee Hengl, 61, of Kankakee, died Tuesday, February 20, 2007, at his residence.  Burial was in in All Saints Cemetery, Bourbonnais.

Mr. Hengl was an electrician for IBEW Union Local 176. He retired in November 2005 after 35 years.

He was born Oct. 21, 1945, in Kankakee, the son of Henry and Maxine LeSage Hengl. He was raised in Kankakee and attended Kankakee High School. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a religious man and read the Bible.Surviving are one daughter, Rebecca Fritz of Castle Rock, Colo.; one grandson, Dustin Hengl; his mother of Cissna Park; one sister and brother-in-law, Linda and John Coveyou of Cissna Park; and four nieces, Jessica and Alyssa Coveyou, Tina (Peter) Guerra and Tammy (Tom) Crossett. His father; one brother, Dale; and one nephew, Robert, are deceased.
