When Christian Lavern Buhrmester
was born on November 8, 1943, in Illinois, his father, Harry,
was 31 and his mother, Opal, was 23. He had two brothers and two
sisters, including his twin sister Martha. Chris and Martha
graduated from Kankakee High School in 1962. He died on
August 10, 2012, at the age of 68.
